Mr. Armani joins Terna S.p.A in 2005, as responsible for Grid Planning department. In 2011 he is nominated Chief Executive Officer in Terna Rete Italia, the operating subsidiary in charge of Italian Transmission and Dispatching activities. He has solid experience in energy, fixed and mobile telecommunication, transport & logistics sectors acquired over the years working in McKinsey & Company, Telecom Italia, GRTN. He has background in Electrical Engineering and in 1998 he obtains an MBA degree at MIT Sloan School of Management.

In May 2015 he has elected Chairman and CEO of ANAS S.p.A. In 2020 he joins A2A as Strategy & Development Director.
